Subaru and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Spreading Warmth to Cancer Patients Across the Country

For the second year in a row, Subaru of America and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) will spread love, hope and warmth to cancer patients and their families in communities across the country. The 2016 Subaru Loves to Care initiative, a charitable arm of the Subaru Love Promise, allowed LLS and Subaru to reach 30,000 patients in more than 250 hospitals through 393 Subaru retailers. This year, LLS and Subaru aim to reach even more patients with small gestures of comfort and care in their time of need.

Employee Spotlight: Doug Arant, Master Certified Technician

Doug Arant has been working in, on and around Subarus for over 30 years. He started in his teens sweeping the shop on weekends and now is a Subaru Master Certified Technician, the highest level achievement a Subaru technician can obtain.

When Doug isn’t elbow deep fixing Subarus, it's likely he is elbow deep in mud running in a Spartan race. Doug’s idea of unwinding is a weekend full of sled-dragging, spear-throwing and Tyrolean traversing, all while running from obstacle to obstacle.

2017 Subaru Impreza Named to Wards 10 Best Interiors for 2017

Subaru of America, Inc. announced that the 2017 Impreza made the Wards 10 Best Interiors list for interior design and styling, and also for its easy-to-use multimedia system.

Published by the respected automotive industry website WardsAuto, the 7th annual competition recognizes outstanding achievement in aesthetics, comfort, ergonomics, materials usage, fit-and-finish and user-friendly electronics. There is no price cap and the nominees consist of interiors that are all-new or have been significantly improved from the prior year. This year, 31 interiors were eligible.
