Since 2008, the Subaru Share the Love Event has donated more than $94 million to charity, with customers choosing from four national and over 660 local charities as recipients of a $250 donation from Subaru of America, Inc. This year, we’re on track to bring that total to more than $115 million donated!

On Friday, November 10, Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise presented Metro Meals on Wheels with a 2018 Subaru Outback on behalf of Subaru of America, Inc. Subaru is celebrating it’s 50th year in America by donating 50 vehicles to select Meals on Wheels programs across the country, and we’re proud to say that our local program was one of them!

On average, Metro Meals on Wheels drives 5200 miles per month to deliver meals to homebound seniors in our community. 

Last year, Subie the Elf joined us to help spread the Christmas cheer. He has quickly become a fan favorite, and he loves bringing smiles to everyone he meets, both young and old.

Subaru of America, Inc. announced that the 2018 Impreza, Legacy, Outback and WRX models earned the 2018 TOP SAFETY PICK + award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) when equipped with EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology and LED Steering Responsive Headlights. Just 15 vehicles qualified for the TOP SAFETY PICK+ award after new for 2018 requirements were implemented for headlights and frontal crash evaluations. In addition, Forester and Crosstrek received the 2018 TOP SAFETY PICK award when equipped with EyeSight and LED Steering Responsive Headlights.
