Consumer Report takes into account which car brands consistently deliver vehicles that serve consumers well by tabulating an overall score, road-test score, and predicted reliability score and average those scores at the brand level. Subaru also had two vehicles among Consumer Reports 10 Top Picks of 2016: Best Cars of the Year, with the 2016 Subaru Impreza named the Best Compact Car and the 2016 Subaru Forester named Best Small SUV, with scores of 77-79 and 83 (out of 100), respectively.
