Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise Gives Back
See the different ways we like to be involved in the Boise area

We believe, as did our founder Larry H. Miller, that it is important to give back and to make a difference in the communities in which we live and do business. That's why you will find us involved in many charities and community events in the Treasure Valley. We love to give back, and we believe in 'Sharing the Love'.

Below you will find some of the various organizations that we are involved with, charities that we have donated to, and community events that we have sponsored or been a part of in the Boise area. We love our customers, neighbors, and friends in the valley. We hope it shows.

It is so rewarding to know that we can make a difference in our local Boise, Nampa, and Meridian communities, and we are very grateful to our employees and customers who make it possible to donate to qualified nonprofit organizations.

Subaru Share the Love Event
March 2017 - As part of our ongoing support of our beloved community, we, in addition to Subaru of America, Inc., presented a check in the amount of $37,204 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho was our hometown charity of choice for the 2016 Subaru Share the Love Event.

"Big Brothers Big Sisters' mission is to match children facing adversity with mentors to help change their lives," said Ty Leuthold, General Manager of Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise. "It's so important that we support the children in our community and provide them with the tools they need to be successful."

From November 17, 2016, to January 3, 2017, customers who purchased or leased a new Subaru could choose to support their choice of four national charities or our hometown charity with a $250 donation from Subaru of America.

We appreciate your business-and friendship! Because of you, we were able to make this sizable donation to a charity that does such amazing work within our community.

They were added to the list of organizations that customers could select to receive a 2016 Subaru Share the Love donation.
The program allows Subaru dealerships the opportunity to select charities operating in their community to be included in a list of organizations that new car owners or lessees can select from to receive a $250 donation from Subaru of America.

Thanks to you, we were able to give $20,250 to the Idaho Humane Society, and $11,000 to Ride for Joy. In all, we raised $8,000+ more than last year's Share The Love event!

Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs & Camp Hodia

June 2015 - Idaho Diabetes Youth Programs, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that sponsors camps and programs for children and teens with type 1 diabetes. Their programs are designed to foster self-reliance and inspiration through healthy self-management in outdoor environments. Their caring staff mentor and support children and teens, and their families, in a safe, healthy and respectful environment.
We are always honored to be able to help this organization, and are glad to support the work they do. We have donated to them in the past, and hope to do so again in the future. This time, we were able to give $5,000 to benefit their youth programs for Idaho young people.

Subaru Loves Learning in Boise
August 2015 - Did you know that every year the average teacher spends $500 of their own money on school supplies for their classroom?
During our Subaru Loves Learning event, our mission was to relieve the burden of local teachers who spend their own money on school supplies for their students so they could then focus on their passion - creating the best classroom experience for their kids.
Larry H. Miller Subaru employees and customers helped provide Boise teachers with needed supplies for their classroom for the 2015-2016 school year, and filled a Subaru full of supplies to be delivered!

2015 Larry H. Miller Day of Service -The Boise Bicycle Project

April 2015 - Every year on or near April 26th, the Larry H. Miller Group dedicates the birthday of our founder Larry H. Miller to serving our communities, in all the states we do business in. We do this to honor his memory, and his directive to "Go about doing good until there is too much good in the world."

This year, our time was dedicated to the Boise Bicycle Project, a wonderful nonprofit organization that collects and refurbishes used and broken bicycles to provide to underprivileged children in the Boise area.
