Larry H. Miller Subaru In The Community

Larry H. Miller Subaru was proud to be the 2011 Presenting Sponsor of Rake up Boise!

This event was held on November 19th, 2011

With the help of volunteers, Neighborhood Housing Services has organized one of the largest community events in the state of Idaho - Rake up Boise, celebrating its' 26th year. Rake up Boise has recruited over 110k volunteers, and raked the yards of over 13k senior and disabled residents. Nearly 3.5 million pounds of biodegradable leaf bags have been collected, composted, and kept out of city landfill.

There were 38 entries, all Subaru's, and prizes awarded in several categories. There was even a competition between one of our Certified Subaru techs and a car club member to see who could change 4 tires the fastest!

We were so thrilled to sponsor the 2011 Idaho Road Rally in June!
What an exciting event that began with a tech inspection at our store the night before the race. The race kicked off Saturday, June 18th in Placerville with a course through the mountains, and wrapped up Sunday, the 19th, with an awards ceremony following.

We had a great time, and hope that you will enjoy the photos. We look forward to doing this again next year!

Our sponsorship of the McCall Winter Carnival was a huge success - a big thank-you to all who participated!

We were proud to be the #1 sponsor of the 2011 McCall Winter Carnival!

The first winter carnival in McCall was in 1924, and while the attractions have changed over the years, the spirit of fun and hospitality remains the same. This year marked the 46th annual carnival since its' revival in 1965, and we were proud to play a part in it! The theme this year was "100 Years of McCall", and the streets of McCall were packed with 20,000 people! We look forward to participating again next year.
